The Hoosiers and Wolverines are heading into overtime at Armstrong Stadium.
——————

With 22:42 left in the game, Kevin Robson scored his second of the day, blasting a shot past Michigan keeper Patrick Sperry from 20 yards out. Robson dribbled into space, looked to pass but decided to unleash the shot. It found the top right corner of then net.

———————

With 11:30 left in the first half, Kevin Robson put Indiana back in the game by converting a penalty kick. Darren Yeagle earned the chance when he took a pass ahead of two defenders, broke in alone and was fouled.

———————-

With 26:50 left, Michigan captain Kevin Hall, a back, made a run through the box and beat two Indiana defenders before tucking the ball under Cain and within the right post.

The crowd here is stunned.

———————-

With 40:50 left in the first half, Josh Tudela fouled a Michigan player in the box, setting up a penalty kick. Matt Holody put his shot low and to the left, just under a diving Chay Cain.

———————–

Chay Cain earns his fourth straight start for the Hoosiers in net. Freshman Eric Alexander is starting in the midfield again, and Kevin Robson, Brian Ackley and Darren Yeagle are all lined up as forwards. Indiana coach Mike Freitag is trying to find the right mix.

Tell Coach we are praying for him and know he will recover rapidly. The Gators won but when he gets back on the field his team will do better.

  • TsaoTsuG on "Theo Pinson takes North Carolina over Indiana"I always took a lot of pride in the fact that our attitude towards recruiting really set us apart from the obsessiveness of corrupt programs like Kentucky. • Mariner Tom on "Theo Pinson takes North Carolina over Indiana"I'm afraid that Lorenzo Romar is a good example of a recent coach with two near lottery picks failing to make the tourney (Tony Wroten and Terrence Ross). Happens a lot. Having lottery pick talent does not mean a player possesses the mental maturity to perform under pressure, nor that
  • Podunker on "IU football adds lineman Nate Hoff to 2013 recruiting class"HC, I'm not sure why they'd want to trim him down from 320 to play defensive line. • Podunker on "Theo Pinson takes North Carolina over Indiana"Realty, Crean's still a young man. He's got lot's of time to transition from a "good" coach to leading IU to a championship.
