Indiana center back Ofori Sarkodie has been named to the Under-20 U.S. National team. He is one of 10 college players on the 20-player roster, and was chosen out of a pool of more than 60 players. Freddy Adu, one of the most heralded players in the history of American soccer, is the captain of the team.

The U.S. team will play in the CONCACAF Under-20 Final Round Qualifying Tournament from Jan. 17-21 at Rommel Fernandez Stadium in Panama City, Panama. They’ll be fighting for a spot in the U-20 World Cup to be played this summer in Canada.
