Ebanks, Holloway have clauses to be released

Two players who have signed with Indiana to join the basketball team next season had clauses in their letters of intent that would allow for them to be released should Kelvin Sampson no longer be the coach, Indiana athletic director Rick Greenspan said during his Friday evening press conference.

Those two players are Devin Ebanks, a 6-8 forward currently playing at a prep school in Connecticut, and Terrell Holloway, a 6-0 point guard playing at a Cincinnati Prep School, according to associate athletic director Grace Calhoun.

The two other signees — Tom Pritchard and Matt Roth — would have to be released by IU from their letters. Calhoun said she hopes that interim coach Dan Dakich and the next coach at Indiana can work to convince all four members of the recruiting class to stay committed to the Hoosiers.

What about Daniel Moore from Carmel? Can he still walk-on next year? He’ll be a fan favorite for sure during his tenure.

Jeff I think Daniel Moore is entertaining some small college scholarships given the nice season he is having….

An honor to be a Hoosier. If they change their mind, they didn;t belong in the first place.
