Dan Dakich and D.J. White.

All-American candidate D.J. White is out on the floor warming up with his teammates.

He’s wearing a wrap on his left knee, which was injured last Saturday in IU’s 80-61 win over Michigan State, but looks to be fine.

New Coach Needed
Wednesday, February 20, 2008 - 7:38 PM EDT

Coach Sampson should be fired. It is amazing that people are ok with cheating as long as Indiana has a good record! As an Indiana alumni, I don’t want our university to compromise on this issue at all! This has nothing to do with coach Sampson’s personality or his coaching ability. Rules are rules and should never be broken, even if you think that the rule or rules are ridiculous. The rules establish a level playing field across the board.

Someone has to put a stop to the mindless rules coming out of the NCAAs ivory towers in Indianapolis. These hypocritical administrators want to regulate down to how many push ups atheletes can do. What did Sampson do? He recruited someone by talking to him. Who cares. There should be no restrictions on who and how often you can talk to someone. This is America. Freedom of speech and freedom of association. Its time to topple the totalitarian NCAA.
