IU basketball award winners announced

Here’s a list of the award winners from the Hoosier basketball team’s annual banquet last night at the IU Memorial Union.

We asked if these would be available last night, but IU decided to wait to release them today.

The awards were either voted on by the team or were based on specific measurable criteria.

Dont see any awards for Mr. Gordon either.. unless there is one for clanging threes 20 times a game and missing most of them.

We’ve heard that Ellis was at the banquet last night, but haven’t confirmed that with any official sources. Chris will be at a Dakich pre-Big Ten Tournament press conference that starts at 1:30 today and will ask about Ellis.

Chris will provide updates from the press conference here as long as he can get an Internet connection from the press room in the bowels of Assembly Hall.

Ellis was at the banquet last night. If you go to iuhoosiers.com and look at the picture for the story on the banquet, Ellis is in the middle-right in the red shirt.
