Sporting News names D.J. White a second-team All-American


As the year-end basketball awards starting to roll in, Indiana’s D.J. White and Eric Gordon are – not surprisingly – receiving a few accolades.

Today, IU announced that Sporting News has named White a second-team All-American and put Gordon on its All-Freshman team.

White and Gordon have also both been named All-District by the U.S. Basketball Writer’s Association and are on the list of 24 players still in the running for the Wooden Award for college basketball’s best player.
