Gordon goes to Clippers at No. 7

A few seconds ago the Los Angeles Clippers picked Eric Gordon with the No. 7 overall selection.

Gordon is wearing a Clippers hat for now, but rumors persisted before the draft that the Sonics and Clippers had worked out a deal. Chad Ford at ESPN is reporting the deal is off, and that makes sense — both teams drafted combo guards, UCLA’s Russell Westbrook and Gordon. Still, do not be surprised if Gordon is a Seattle/Oklahoma City Sonic before the night is over.

By the by, Gordon was rocking a Jay-Z-esque white suit with black pinstripe dress shirt. As the kids say, his steeze was immaculate.

Sweet!

I knew it was going to happen. EJ can light it up every night as the Clips get blown out by the Grizzlies and the Sonics. No need to worry about big games.

The next Dennis Scott, I say.

Wasn’t like he did all that much for Indiana in the later part of the season. The Clippers can keep him;)

It is ironic to me that he goes to the good old LOSER CLIPPERS!!! Sweet justice. He says he will play the point if need be, what a joke.
