Moore…Or Less…IU Hoops

Moore PT Please!

I’d say it’s a safe assumption one cannot judge the potential of future Hoosier walk-on Daniel Moore, a Carmel product, on Friday’s Indiana-Kentucky All-Star game held at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Here’s his line from the 83-82 Indiana victory: 2 points, 2-2 free throws, 1 turnover, 0-0 field goals, 0 rebounds, 0 assists, 0 steals, 0 blocks, 0 fouls…But here’s the kicker: 2 minutes.

An All-Star game in Indy, a Hoosier-to-be, and coach Rick Baumgartner (Muncie South) plays him 2 minutes??!! Maybe he’ll get a tad more court time during Sunday’s game in Louisville. But then again, maybe he won’t.

Baumgardner is an idiot. The worse managed game I have even seen.

No offense to Daniel… but isn’t he like surrounded with better players? I didn’t think IU should have played Ahlfeld just because he was on the team… we wanted to win.

Its and exhibition game, these kids earned a spot, they should all get PT. At least a quarter, 2 minutes is a joke, a slap in the face. When its all said and done, does anyone really care who won the 2008 all-star game between IN and KY.

If I remember right, Larry Legend didn’t get even as much playing time as Moore in the first game and left the team ,and didn’t play in the second.

I attended the the All-Star game in Indianapolis and I was very disappointed with the coaching. Daniel Moore is THE best point guard in Indiana and he should have played more. Daniel will be a star at Indiana. I cant wait to watch him next year.
