Fun with IU salary database

Have you seen the IU salary database? It’s right here, at OK, so it’s not free. But really, what’s six bucks a month? It’s a gallon of gas, and a beer at Kilroy’s on Tuesday. Think about signing up.
I’ve been playing around with the database, mainly because I love this kind of stuff. It’s a little sick, looking at all of these salaries. But the fact that we provide last name and initials (Crean, TA instead of Tom Crean) helps me to get over that viewpoint pretty quickly.

So, not all of you are going to click. That is why I am here – to tease you. Here are the top salaries within IU athletics:

Tom Crean (head men’s basketball coach) – $600,000

Rick Greenspan (for now, athletics director) – $309,600

Bill Lynch (head football coach) – $258,750

Felisha Leggette-Jack (head women’s basketball coach) – $238,052

Matt Canada (football offensive coordinator) – $155,250

Brian George (football co-defensive coordinator) – $155,250

Joe Palcic (football co-defensive coordinator) – $155,250

Bobby Johnson (football offensive line/running coordinator) – $144,900

Jeff Meyer (former men’s basketball assistant coach) – $142,500

George Ricumstrict (football linebackers/co-special teams coordinator) – $139,725

Dennis Springer (football running backs/co-special teams coordinator) – $135,000

Billy Lynch (football wide receivers) – $134,550

Harold Mauro (director of football operations) – $125,056

Kevin Clark (associate athletics director for business and finance) – $125,000

Tim Fitzpatrick (senior associate athletics director) – $125,000

Grace Calhoun (associate athletics director for student development) – $120,000

Mark Wateska (director of athletic performance) – $117,000

Mary Ann Rohleder (director of administrative services) – $116,460

I just cannot believe that Canada is pulling that salary. He has failed to play call well since he has been here.
