Roth not practicing yet

Freshman guard Matt Roth has not yet been cleared to work out with the team as he deals with a shoulder injury.

Roth, a talented 3-point shooter, had what his roommate Tom Pritchard described as “a little separation” in the shoulder and has been rehabbing for three weeks.

“He’s definitely getting better,” Pritchard said Thursday. “He’s definitely working and doing a lot of therapy and stuff. He told me that he wants to play but with his condition, what he has right now, the trainer, Tim Garl, thinks it’s probably not a good idea to start going full-contact right now.”
