Nice to be able to catch gist of the speech from a Houston airport; thanks Chris! I saw some mention of video of the speech, any luck with it? Will we have any blogging from Chalk Talk tomorrow night?
Toughness, Technique, & Tenaciousness. I love it!

I know they show recruits video of the fans, but is he serious when he says he wants obnoxious? Has he seen our student section since Knight left? Might as well have the named student section sponsored by Sports with all the debauchery there (10 min after the game has started, of course).

I heard this morning that 650 students went to hear Crean. 10 years ago I went with my now wife to hear Knight and there were 7-8,000 students. Amazing how things have changed!!!

Ahh but Did RMK command that kind of attendance before his first game as coach? If you attended last night you would have seen that this program will emulate RMK before it is said and done… CTC is setting up shop to gain the same reputation of principled coaching and expectations… Parents will once again want their Sons to be under the tutelage of an Indiana Coach…

cheyenne, Maybe I should have just come out and said that I am SURPRISED that there were not more students in attendance. The point you make is OK, but IU has many more championships under their belt now than they did when Knight came and I would have thought many more students would have shown up last night. I have gone to the games since I graduated in 99 and have taken mental notes on the main student section. The kids did not start showing up late until halfway through Davis tenure and it has been worse every year since. I pray for student support again for bball. I am positive like you and hope you are right on!!! Take care.

Good article on Brett Finkelmeier. When did he start being called the Carmel Kid?

From what Crean said last night He is going to be very proactive in any Student Support activities… It is a shame that the students showing up late do not appreciate the entire experience…
I can see that they want to create Cameron Crazies experiences for the students in the seating and presence… I would love to see a ring of Students around the Court…
Yank the the chairs on the sidelines and knock the wall down on either side and make a tiered student standing section on both sides and with the ends as they are; full of students… Would lose a few rows but would make for a much more intense experience for all…
