The Indiana men’s soccer team recorded the fastest goal in school history Tuesday night at Butler when Daniel Kelly scored just 11 seconds into the game en route to a 2-0 IU win.

The previous record was 16 seconds, set just a few days over 26 years ago by Mike Hyella against St. Louis on Oct. 2, 1982.

The Butler goalkeeper misplayed a pass back to him and Kelly took advantage. My guess is that Kelly’s record will likely stand 26 years and then some.
