Injury report still ugly for IU

Friday’s injury report didn’t see much change from Tuesday, which means it’s still pretty nasty for Indiana.

Running back Zach Davis-Walker (foot) was downgraded from doubtful to out, joining defensive end Darius Johnson (shoulder), defensive end Fred Jones (foot), linebacker Will Patterson (hand), cornerback Donnell Jones (elbow), safety Chris Adkins (elbow) and defensive tackle Jarrod Smith (back) as players who will be watching from the sideline Saturday against Northwestern. Right guard Pete Saxon (ankle) is still listed as questionable. Running back Darius Willis (ankle) and linebacker Leon Beckum (ankle) are both listed as probable.

Not good news, but I also heard that Northwestern is pretty banged up so it should be an even fight.

Just curious, but does anyone know how Kellen Lewis has been doing at Valdosta State? And what ever happened to the two kids that were kicked out of the IU program for robbery, i.e. Dennis Zeigler (can’t remember the other guy’s name)?

Yep, NU’s defensive backfield is really banged up as well.

Higgi

Valdosta is 4 – 4. They were trounced last night by North Alabama (Shula coached I believe.) Lewis has been good, not great. I’d be willing to bet that Lewis wishes he would have listened to a different group of people/mentors. I believe Lynch really tried.

T. Bowden won’t be there much longer after watching the product he puts on the field perform. Some school is going to throw a pile of money at him pronto. He definitely has the pedigree to earn it.

TB has a career W-L record of 123-52-2. He quit his Auburn team in the middle of the 1998 season.

  • Aruss on "Evan Gordon commits to Indiana"I agree with Weatherman. My biggest complaint is having to scroll through all the bulls*** comments to find intelligent discussions around IU sports news and rumors.
