Lynch: Fisher won’t play this week

Cornerback Ray Fisher wasn’t on the depth chart released by Indiana this afternoon, and Bill Lynch said on this radio show that Fisher won’t play this week.

“He’s not gonna play this week,” Lynch said. “He hurt his knee on the opening kickoff of the game. It’s unbelievable. He had an MRI done today, and unless something really strange happens, we don’t expect him to play this week.”

Considering what this defender does for the offense with his kick return skills we most likely will be playing at least in the short term without our most valuable player.
