Gary Harris schedules visit to IU on Oct. 15

Brian Snow of Scout.com is reporting that star Hamilton Southeastern guard Gary Harris will visit Purdue on Oct. 1, Indiana on Oct. 15 and Michigan State on Nov. 5. He also has an in-home visit scheduled with Louisville on Sept. 10. The story is subscription only, but Sean Bledsoe, Harris’s AAU coach, confirms that the information is accurate.

The story suggested that Harris will be at Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria. That would mean that unlike in previous years, Hoosier Hysteria would be on a Saturday instead of Friday Oct. 14, which is the first day team’s can practice. Harris, a football player at Hamilton Southeastern, obviously wouldn’t be able to make Hoosier Hysteria if it were on a Friday. We’re trying to confirm whether or not this move is official.
