BTN changes programming schedule, no longer showing Spring Game

Indiana’s Spring Game was supposed to be shown on the Big Ten Network tonight, but because of complications caused by the moving of the game from Memorial Stadium to Mellencamp Pavilion after the first quarter because of inclement weather, the network will instead show tape of the 2007 Old Oaken Bucket Game, the release from the Big Ten Network follows. (The note in the release saying the game was canceled is, of course, inaccurate).

BTN PROGRAMMING ALERT

A replay of Indiana’s 2007 win vs. Purdue will air at 9pm ET tonight in place of Indiana’s spring football game, which was canceled on Saturday due to inclement weather. Go to BTN.com for all Indiana’s spring football interviews and additional coverage. Coverage also will be included during the B1G Tonight Spring Football Edition at 7 PM ET Tuesday.

I was at the game Saturday, both locations actually. I couldn’t see a lot from the side lines at The Mellencamp Pavillion. I was impressed with Isiah Roundtree at TB and also what little I did see of Cameron Coffman at QB. Roundtree looks quick and gets through a hole fast. He got a few inside seams that he looked good scooting through. I was impressed with Coffman being able to throw the short and mid-range passes. Nice zip on the ball. None of the bounce passes we had to endure last year. Tre Roberson can only get better. Wish he could throw the long ball better. Again, it is IU playing against IU. All in all, there was better atmosphere than what I saw last year or with Lynch coached teams. Go Hoosiers.

Can the Hoosiers make a bowl game without Nate Sudfeld?
