IU offers California forward Marcus Lee

Seen a few reporters and recruiting experts posting on Twitter that Indiana has offered Marcus Lee, a 6-foot-8, 200-pound big man from Deer Valley High School in Antioch, Calif. Hopefully have more on this tomorrow.

Also, several reports claim that Purdue has offered Eron Gordon, the brother of Eric Gordon and the 2016 recruit the Hoosiers offered last week.

How do we keep Eron away from Purdue?

Keeping Eron away from Purdue is easy.

Encourage him to take a campus visit to Purdue.

    Enough said.

Tell him the police story how PUke players retrieve forgotten wallets from a local pub.

You keep Eron away from Purdue by hanging a sixth banner in the next few years….our banners do our talking.

If not now, it should not be long before IU has little to no fear about the players they want committing to Purdue. The best way to keep them away from Purdue is to continue to beat Purdue in head-to-head competition, finish ahead of them in the Big Ten standings, and run a clean program from top to bottom. And that should not be difficult in the 2012-2013 season.

And if the Hoosier Nation continues to show the support for the players the way they did this year, Purdue will fall back into the “also ran” status of College Basketball within the state of Indiana. Really, I think Purdue is going to be the fourth choice amongst college teams located in the state. It would be IU, Notre Dame or Butler, then Purdue. Unless of course a good player wants to get a degree in Engineering.

LOL. What a waste of time. Does Painter actually think Eric Gordon’s little bro would want to play there.

HoH…honest question here (rather than continue to make an assumption); are you posting under more than one handle? Just an honest question to clarify an assumption.

You really have to ask if that fruit cake is using multiple names?

He probably has half of them on here.

Does anyone know anything about Marcus Lee? Kansas seems to be the only heavyweight on his list except for UCLA.

Marcus Lee was offered by Duke today. Also almost all of the Pac-12 is interested, a lot of interest in the Big 12 and some interest from the ACC. But he seems really interested in IU.
