Put UK in the past. I am more concerned with the now which has CTC overrecruiting. Roth gets shafted, someone else will soon get shafted,Capo got the ax, and appears to be an issue next year also.Quit quoting the Bible and live within the 13 scholly rule.

^My goodness..that’s still very, very funny.

The ‘Prince of Tan Lotion’ was also hilarious. Glad to see you’re still out there, my ol’ Basketblog friend.

Just for the record, Asheville, not that far from some of those wackos, is one of the most ‘gay friendly’ cities in America. The entire South is not intolerant (not that you have ever said it is). Indeed, Asheville is a cultural Mecca that has benefited greatly from the diversity of its community.

It’s one of the few places I know of where a conservative farmer might be having an engaging conversation on a street corner with a Wiccan (I have actually witnessed that one). While the city has a large white majority our mayor is a bright, engaging Black woman with her masters degree in public administration.

It’s a great place to live and raise a family.

More evidence of the inmates (Cal) running the institution. UK’s athletic director has no say in whether the game gets played or not or where it gets played. Must be pretty sweet to collect a paycheck to do absolutely nothing except spew pointless dribble.

realiufan, most programs will tend to over sign due to the fact that the commitments aren’t official until they sign that paper. ‘Tis better to over sign, then under sign. This is actually a good problem to have and something they don’t have to worry about until August. You don’t think they had a plan for this when they started recruiting and getting commitments. I am sure they have a plan A,B,C….Z.

I started to click on the link, but realized that I’d reached saturation on this topic. Judging from the lack of focus on this “issue” from other posters, I have to assume that I’m not the only one. Let’s move on, wait for the KY program and Calipari to do the inevitable face plant in the next few years (or months) and think about scheduling them (or not) when the stench from the current regime clears.

Let’s move on with UK and schedule KU.

A Home-and-Home series with KU would be a lot of fun.

But twas not friendship you hunger
    That awakes you each slumber?
For does it not nourish the heart
    you pretend not starve?
