Dickerson named Florida State League Player of the Year
Former Indiana outfielder Alex Dickerson, now a first baseman for the Bradenton Marauders in the Pittsburgh Pirates farm system, has been named the advanced Class A Florida State League’s Player of the Year.
In 124 games with the Marauders, Dickerson hit .299 with 12 home runs, 88 RBIs, 31 doubles, a .454 slugging percentage and .358 on-base percentage. He was second in the FSL in RBIs and second in total bases with 214. He was also eighth in batting average and third in doubles with 31.
