Former IU target Marcus Lee commits to Kentucky

For the 2nd time in 4 years they actually had someone commit outside of the consensus top 20! 2 guys that might graduate (Lee and Will Caulley) in 4 years, what a shocker.

Outside the top 20?? Is coach Cal running low on cash?

  • Ron says:

Probably getting close to the salary cap..?

  • Chet says:

I thought they cleared a lot of cap space when they traded away all those guys at the end of last season.

  • Ron says:

True Chet, but the sign-on bonus really adds up with so many new recruits.

  • twarrior87 says:

Appears he was looking for dollar signs… cutting off preseason #1, IU, before even visiting to commit to UK (the team that’s scared of playing IU this year).
