Former IU target Marcus Lee commits to Kentucky

Just in case you wondered what ever became of Marcus Lee, the 6-foot-9 forward from Antioch, Calif., who was supposed to visit Indiana for Hoosier Hysteria this weekend but cut IU off his list before hand, he just committed to Kentucky, choosing the Wildcats over California.

For the 2nd time in 4 years they actually had someone commit outside of the consensus top 20! 2 guys that might graduate (Lee and Will Caulley) in 4 years, what a shocker.

I thought they cleared a lot of cap space when they traded away all those guys at the end of last season.

Appears he was looking for dollar signs… cutting off preseason #1, IU, before even visiting to commit to UK (the team that’s scared of playing IU this year).
