I was so in hopes Danny Hope would be around W. Laffy at least 2 more years. Just not to be.
On a good note, of course the Bride and I spent the T holiday with the Matriarchs of the family, both live near Valpo and read that capo played his 1st game for VU after returning from hernia surgery. He scored 10 and collected 11 boards in a role bringing him off the bench. Their program lists him as 6’10″ @ 244lb. Coach drew said his team needs exactly what Capo can bring over this season and next. He will do well there.

Great job Todd Yeagley and Hoosiers. Nice to have teams that are expected to perform at the national level.

HC, that’s great. We’ve lost that generation in our family. We’re the oldest generation which, as adventure sports enthusiasts and frequent trauma patients, gives the kids a lot of laughs and hopes for their own aging.
I’m glad Capo is going to be an integral cog. Better than holding down the end of the bench in Bloomington, IMHO.
IU adds lineman for the fallIndiana football hosts Navy this fall and will include a freshman lineman who ultimately opted to be a Hoosier rather than a Midshipman.
Podunker on "IU football adds lineman Nate Hoff to 2013 recruiting class"Tsao, really good comments in #17. But our discussion presumes he'll play guard on offense. I'm wondering, based on need and the depth of IU's respective lines, if Wilson might have him play defense, at least his first year. Could you see Hoff playing nose tackle?
Geoff on "Fischer named Parade All-American"Can't find the criteria anywhere... Good for Fischer, good for Mr. Beal up here in Maine... Nice for the mantle, but pretty unrepresentative of the actual top talent.
Podunker on "Hoosiers waiting to learn if investment in Pinson's recruitment will pay off"Given that both the Duke and UNC head basketball coaches are getting up there in years, I wonder if players are beginning to develop questions/doubts about how long Coach K and his rival at UNC will continue to coach? Since neither school really emphasizes recruiting the obvious "one-and-done" players,
Podunker on "Hoosiers waiting to learn if investment in Pinson's recruitment will pay off"Say what you want about Crean, but he's a great recruiter. Aside from the most virulent Crean-hating trolls and those suffering from TCDS, posts like #3 above are an indication that the Hoosier Nation is very confident that Crean knows how to recruit great talent.
It's about time IU reverse
Keith on "Hoosiers waiting to learn if investment in Pinson's recruitment will pay off"It's always nice to be in the running for a long, athletic wing who has good character and can guard 3 positions.
I really hope we can get him out of NC.
Hoosier Nation, if by chance we don't get him let's keep it classy and congratulate the young man. Let's continue

Shoulda gone strong on the over Chet!
Football scoop: we got Darius Latham as part of The Movement tonight.
Aruss, that rocks. Any official announcement?
He just announced on twitter – https://twitter.com/BigBusiness_25
Hopefully, Dustin is following up with a story!
Thanks. That’s very cool.
It just might be our Oregon of K-State moment. I think it is.
Go Hoosiers.
