Indiana adds Georgia cornerback for 19th commitment

According to Alex McCarthy at 247Sports.com, Flowery Branch (Ga.) cornerback Noah Padmore committed to Indiana, becoming the 19th commitment for the Class of 2013. More to come after today’s game.

On a night when we want and are looking for good news, great…great news for IU football and IU sports in general. Great of you Noah Padmore!, we look forward to bringing the house down yelling your name and watching you perform in a Hoosier uniform!!!! We wanted you and glad your heard it!!! Go Hoosiers!

Yeah the butler loss kind of made everyone overlook this commitment. I’m really excited this kid pledge to IU. He’s another top notch defensive recruit.

Anyone notice the basics of the recruited kids. The defensive linemen all read 6’5″, 6′ 5″…6’3″, etc and one, a kid they really wanted from Houston 6’1″. Weight wise, mostly 250+ and this is coming in from high school. DBs’ mostly 5’11″, 6’0″ around 200. Linebackers all about 6’1″, 6’2″ and 210-220 lbs. That’s with CKW clearly emphasizing speed.

Looks like prospectively an excellent incoming class tailored to B1G standards.
