another big get for Wilson. If he gets all these kids to sign then give him an extension. What a class we might have.

IU’s defensive WILL be better in 2013.

It is very clear that recruiting emphasis is on defense as it should be and it appears that our talent level is rising. I suspect that we may see some changes in the defensive coaching staff before Spring ball.

iufan23,

Unless some of them would get better offers and Wilson and Glass can’t pony up to keep them I absolutely disagree. With all the upheaval happening in the coaching profession at the end of this season any changes would already have happened. There were/are way too many talented assistants during their transition w/o jobsfor Coach Wilson to not take advantage of. The most improvement the D showed this year was in their energy, effort and the development of some young players. Coaching made that happen. I am thinking Wilson is optimistic about what this coaching staff will do with better talent. I am somewhat concerned we may end up losing OC Littrell to OSU. Monken was making $600k there as OC and I do not see Glass and Wilson being successful in a spending competition with T. Boone Pickens and keep him.
