Indiana maintains No. 1 spot in both polls

Indiana lost one first-pace vote — which apparently went to no one — in the Associated Press poll but maintained its No. 1 spot in both that and the USA Today Coaches Poll on Monday. Duke remains No. 2 in both polls.

Michigan remains No. 3 and Ohio State is No. 7. Illinois, which claimed a landmark victory with a win over Gonzaga on Saturday night, gave the Big Ten four teams in the Top 10 by coming in at No. 10.

Illinois is going to be tough. I watched them beat a good Gonzaga team on their home court. They were impressive.

The Big Ten looks like the dominant conference in the nation this year.

And Minnesota in the top 15 as well…

Somehow I missed Kentucky in those rankings…
