Replogle named Indiana’s MVP at banquet

Indiana senior defensive tackle Adam Replogle — who last week was named second-team All-Big Ten by both coaches and media — was named Indiana’s team MVP on Friday night.

Replogle led the Hoosiers with 5.0 sacks and 13.0 tackles for loss and was third on the team with 71 tackles.

Replogle, who was also named an Academic All-American this week, was also honored on Friday night as a team captain along with senior center Will Matte and with the senior Academic Excellence award along with safety Alexander Webb.

Safety Greg Heban was named Teammate of the Year and kicker Mitch Ewald was named Special Teams Player of the Year. Tight end Anthony Corsaro and running back Damon Graham were named Outstanding Walk-Ons of the Year. Running back Anthony Davis was named Scout Team Offensive Player of the Year and defensive tackle Michael Mitsch was Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year. Linebacker Griffen Dahlstrom, offensive lineman Bill Ivan and safeties Mark Murphy and Jake Zupancic earned the Academic Excellence Award.
