BTN to air live Tip-Off show at Assembly Hall on Saturday

BTN will be live from Assembly Hall in Bloomington this Saturday for a special one-hour Tip-Off show, hosted by Dave Revsine alongside analyst Shon Morris. Coverage begins at 11 AM ET and will lead directly into the men’s basketball match-up between No. 10 Minnesota and No. 5 Indiana. Gus Johnson will call the game with Jim Jackson as analyst.

This is the only match-up on Saturday featuring two of the country’s top-10 teams. Minnesota is 15-1 after last night’s win at Illinois and Indiana is 14-1. Both are undefeated in the Big Ten.

During the pre-game show, BTN will offer fans a sneak preview of Sunday’s season premiere of ‘The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2013’ with a segment that features Indiana’s Victor Oladipo.

For my money, Gus Johnson is the next best thing for those of us who don’t get to hear Don Fischer on the radio.

It would have been really tough for this young man to leave his home state. There was just enormous inertia keeping the young man local.

Using the dry adiabatic lapse rate you can figure about 2 degrees C. cooler per 1000 feet above sea level. That's quite a bit. It's a nice area.
