Wow…. That’s a riveting police report.

What a jack ass and piece of sh!t Devan D Evans is.

Sucks he has Hoosier ties. Is there any way to officially disown him? This case seems cut and dry.

Why don’t we reserve judgment and hope for the best? Seriously, it has always been remarkable how so many of the fans here revel in a former player making a terrible mistake. Obviously, he should not have been involved in whatever went down here – but this isn’t something to be happy about and it certainly doesn’t mean he should be thrown under a bus. I, personally, hope that he can get his life straightened out and get back on track to become a productive member of society. And were I in a position to do so, I would want to help the guy out.

He shot a guy in the throat while trying to steal his sports car…

The guy was in critical condition for days and just now regained his ability to speak.

Here’s an idea Gymnast… Volunteer at the maximum security prison this piece of SH!T will reside in for the next 25-50 years and see if you can rehabilitate him.

I’ll hope for the best…. for the victim – that he makes a full recovery and can testify with his own voice, before going on to lead a productive life himself.

A mistake is flushing the toilet while your wife is in the shower…

Not calling someone on the phone saying you’d like to meet up with him and buy his car, then hop into the passenger seat, pull out an illegal stolen firearm, and shoot the unsuspecting victim in the neck…

Are you joking or are you really that big a dipsh_t?

Not only should he be thrown under a bus, but he should be thrown off a building and onto some hot coals. Then, if he’s still kicking, they can lock him in a dark room without meals so we aren’t wasting taxpayers dollars on electricity, food, or babysitting.

No one is reveling in this scumbag committing felonies and repeatedly trying to kill men, women, and CHILDREN.

Time for him to disappear, so his family and neighbors can live in slightly less fear.

I thought I had lost my mind when I read this affidavit. I read a completely different story just a few days ago about Dumes shooting through an apartment door at a woman with a baby in her arms. Apparently, there are either two different crimes or some reporter has some serious ‘splaining to do. Either way, looks like someone’s going to get real familiar with Bubba.

I was under the impression they are both true…

Which coach recruited this dipstick? Was it Davis or Sampson? Anyone know if he actually graduated? I tend to doubt it due to obvious disciplinarian coach (sarcasm) behind him.

He transferred in from Vincennes in Crean’s first year when the roster had 14 spots to fill.

Didn’t have the details on my last post. Sad, stupid and unforgivable.

Found an article about his signing with IU:

http://www.insidethehall.com/2008/04/22/dumes-signs-letter-of-intent-with-indiana/

Note his quote when he made his decision. “it was a beautiful night, really. A blessing from The Lord. I had a lot of support.”

Either he was a good kid who really lost his way, or he was always a bad seed who was just blowing smoke up everybody’s ass. I was out of the country at the time, so I can’t speculate on what his personality was. Maybe somebody else can shed some light.

In the meantime, back to celebrating our big win…

Punjab. They are two different crimes. Allegedly happened within two days of each other.

Wow, Dustin. I don’t know whether to be angry or sad about that. We may never know what really happened, but you have to wonder what makes seemingly good people go bad.

And for the record, I wasn’t referring to you in #7. I think you do a fantastic job of objectively reporting while still appealing to a pretty fervent fan base. Thanks for your good work.
