The Indiana bench re-emerged against the Nittany Lions, a trend that needs to continue, I wrote.

The IU women’s basketball team is eyeing an upset in tonight’s rematch with Michigan, Mike writes.

2. IT’S INDIANA
Jack and Jackie Harbaugh, Tom Crean’s parents-in-law, took in Wednesday night’s game at Assembly Hall on the way to the Super Bowl, Rick Bozich of WDRB.com writes.

Indiana comes in eighth in this week’s power rankings, according to Luke Winn of SI.com.

3. NATIONAL NOTES
The NCAA will investigate itself, which means a major public relations hit for president Mark Emmert, Allie Grasgreen of InsideHigherEd.com writes.

With a continued decrease in scoring, college basketball is losing both fans and points, Bob Molinaro of the Virginian-Pilot writes.

4. ONE FOR THE ROAD
Combine the Nittany Lions’ colors and the impending New Orleans Super “Harbaugh” Bowl and this is what you get: “Blue Bayou” by Roy Orbison.

The OOC schedules of OSU, Wisky, PUke, Minny, NW, Ill., Iowa, Huskers and PSU must have been made of cupcake dough. Which has caused girlish play and the lack of mental toughness. Astonishing!
