Based on what Crean said during his radio show, he must be smoking that good Jamaican stuff:

IU didn’t play that bad in the second half until the last few minutes? Ummmmmmmm, didn’t they have like 8 turn-overs and lose 10 points of their lead in the first 5 minutes of the second half?

Cody can play in the NFL? Bwahahahahahahaaa!!! He’s softer than jello and gets pushed around by a bunch of nobodies.

No way he could handle getting pounded non-stop in the NFL.

It’s time for Crean’s squad to lay it to the Badgers, and I mean lay it to them. I want retribution for Brian Butch, Rob Wilson, and the seemingly 5 decades of football drubbings they have administered to IU, all in one night.

Every year we muster up all this disdain for Purdue, and rightfully so, being our historical rival. But if we look at who’s been our daddy more than any other school, it’s those damn Badgers. Time to start the process of payback!

3 Things for Tonight:

1) I won’t get into tempo, because it’s been talked about thoroughly… But I think one measure of the styles will be FT attempts. What will the refs allow UW to get away with at Assembly? I think that one of the keys is for IU to have a decided advantage in FT’s. We shoot and make the most in the country… So that would indicate we are aggressive and have decent shooters once we get there. As physical as Wisconsin is on both ends, and as aggressive as IU is on offense, there is no reason we shouldn’t make more than they attempt. If we don’t it will be because the refs are allowing the Badgers to get away with their normal crap, and that won’t be a good sign for IU.

2) We need to win the battle of the backcourt decisively. UW is a bit thin at guard and we have several quality options. I’m hoping that Yogi and Dipo, along with some bounce-back minutes from Remy, are extremely aggressive on defense and wear their guys down. On offense we finally have a couple guys that can break down the Badger defense, and I’m hoping we see plenty of Yogi in the lane and then making quality decisions. (I’m also hoping that Yogi doesn’t shoot a single 3. I feel like that will be a part of UW’s gameplan).

3) Cody can’t get in foul trouble against Berggren. That guy is good… But beyond that Wisconsin has a deep and physical front court. We need about 35 minutes from Cody tonight to neutralize their size advantage and stay even on the boards. Against some other teams I’d say we are talented enough to overcome a little Zeller foul trouble, but there’s no way I trust Hanner and/or Hollowell playing any kind of extended minutes against UW’s style – they’ll be taken to school.

If Cody couldn’t handle Butler’s front court, I’m afraid he’s gonna get schooled tonight.

So, what’s your favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe?

Geoff,
I think we get the calls. Human nature. The officials might hang tough for a chorus or two of ‘boos’ but if the crowd starts sounding like their planning a lynching those whistles will start to blow.

Has anyone ever made fried chicken after it’s soaked in buttermilk?

I’ve read about 3 restaurants doing here in Vegas and everyone says it’s awesome.

Laying it to them. An egg.

I think it should be illegal to post while inebriated (as this guy Dantés obnviously was at the time) just as it is illegal to drive while intoxicated. I understand trolling but Dantés is well beyond the concept. Tweeting-Wonka Tom has now egg all over his funny face. Five years in town and he never ever won a game against Wisconsin. I think it is obvious now that he is a coaching genius. Wonka Tom is building a dynasty in Blooomington. Bring on the trays with cupcakes, and why is Wisconsin not ranked? That was surely a ruse, a dirty trick, maybe even an NCAA secondary violation. We need a quote from Joyce, quick, quick!
