Dustin – you know we have to ask you about the Boeheim vs. Katz thing. If Crean or Wilson had said to you what Boeheim said to Katz, what would your reaction have been?

My guess is you’d fold faster than Superman on laundry day.

I’m sure I wouldn’t be nearly as courageous in that situation as you would be, Aruss.

Larry- the fact is, all trolls disappear for a few days when evidence emerges that all well-coached, winning teams suffer letdowns on occasion.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks for the trolls, with all the #1 teams, as well as the Butlers and the Arizonas, going down. How can they possibly defend their pigeon-brained “W=Good Coach, L=Bad Coach” argument?

  • Aruss on "Evan Gordon commits to Indiana"I agree with Weatherman. My biggest complaint is having to scroll through all the bulls*** comments to find intelligent discussions around IU sports news and rumors. One troll feels the need to write a book with each comment usually regurgitating the same stupid point and a few others
  • Lord of the 1-3-1 on "Abell commits to Xavier"Southport H.S..1965? You're a spring chicken. It's o.k. I learned something new. I never realized it was Spencer Haywood that opened the door for those that went 'hardship' to the NBA. Never even heard that from that Geoff guy on here that goes on and on about Kentucky.
  • Southport65 on "Abell commits to Xavier"The problem with being old is sometimes you make errors it was Gordon Hayward I was thinking of. Thanks for correcting it for me.
  • Lord of the 1-3-1 on "Abell commits to Xavier"Gordon Hayward...Know your Indiana talent. You were probably thinking of Spencer Haywood.
  • Weatherman on "Evan Gordon commits to Indiana"Mariner Tom: Hobbes truly is as extreme as I described. I actually have read him -- and I don't mean to be smart-alecky about that, there are certainly others who have read him more closely and know him far better than I do -- and the quote I put at the
  • Punjab on "Evan Gordon commits to Indiana"Weather, I appreciate your comments. They're always grounded and reasonable even f I don't 100% agree with everything. And you're absolutely right about readers' freedom of choice. But I don't understand why you wouldn't participate more because of a single Scooper you may find distasteful. It seems to me,
  • Mariner Tom on "Evan Gordon commits to Indiana"Weatherman, #114 was very good. Taught me something. I'm just speculating here, but you may be misrepresenting Hobbes slightly. I know his basic premise is that "the state civilizes", but was he as extreme as you are portraying him? I thought his idea was more along
