Coach Izzo didn’t seem pleased with his teams focus, he alluded to some distractions and refused to elaborate when pressed on the question. Not sure if he was referring to the team or certain individuals. Any insight on this???

I wondered the same thing. Would love to know what that’s about. I heard reports of Nix being so focused and amped up for this game that he broke a rim during warmups. But that might have been an unfortunate side effect of chronic oral enpoditis. Damn shame. He seemed like such a fine individual, too….

I really liked what Cody said at the end about the POY honor. The guy was trying to bait him a little and Cody said that Victor can have it. I don’t think Cody cares about that type of stuff. He just wants to see the team win.
He might be referring to the intentional nut smash to Z. As a youth baseball coach, show boatin, trash talkin or anything like that is not tolerated. Example would be Sheehey with his flexin of his skinny biceps at Purdue, looking over at the bench after a made 3 flashing the 3 pt gang sign, then the trash talkin that resulted in a T. I notice the past 2 games Sheehey shows no more signs of that, in fact the next game he went 9-9.

When Nix said he would “handle” the Hoosiers, I don’t think Cody realized what he meant.

I understand that is THE very sign that the Crips use after they knock home a three (but only in the Big Ten).
When will we get street gangs out of nationality televised basketball games?
IU adds lineman for the fallIndiana football hosts Navy this fall and will include a freshman lineman who ultimately opted to be a Hoosier rather than a Midshipman.
Podunker on "Abell commits to Xavier"Tsao, that (#23) was a work of art. Taking the put-down of a troll to a new level. If TORS' IQ is over 75, he'll disengage from this string.
Podunker on "IU football adds lineman Nate Hoff to 2013 recruiting class"That would be fastest person, not "fasted."
HC, I watched some highlight tape of Nate Hoff from last year. He played right guard and had numerous pancake blocks. He just moved guys around like they were on ice-skates. He also seemed to do a good job in pass-protection,
Podunker on "IU football adds lineman Nate Hoff to 2013 recruiting class"HC, how old was Rob Riti when he achieved those weights? My guess is that Nate Hoff is 19 or 20. And typically, at that age, a man is no where near his full potential for physical strength.
