Aulani Sinclair’s Indiana basketball career isn’t finished yet.

Sinclair will participate in the State Farm Women’s 3-point Championship in Atlanta on April 4. The contest, which takes place at Georgia Tech during Final Four festivities, will air live on ESPN at 7 p.m. Sinclair is one of eight Division I seniors participating.

She’s the first IU women’s player to ever compete in the event and the fifth Hoosier to participate. Calbert Cheaney (1993), Brian Evans (1996), A.J. Guyton (2000) and Tom Coverdale (2003) also took part in the competition.

What a terrific honor for a wonderful representative of Indiana basketball. Aulani is all that is good about a real Indiana girl who plays the game hard and can shoot the basketball with the best of them. How cool would it be if she could win this contest. I am wondering who else is in the competition? Aulani was a lot of fun to watch this year, she is all that you would expect of an Indiana kid. Good luck Aulani.

MikeC,
I’m guessing the organizers are still wrangling together participants because I could only find three on the official site. Joining Sinclair will be Middle Tennessee’s Kortni Jones and NC State’s Marissa Kastanek.
