For the crybabies who whine non-stop I’m “always” negative, let me say this…..again:

Awesome leadership by Jordy and Watford.

I don’t know, Chet. I think you would have kicked butt in front of 25,000. Wrestling scares the hell out of me…Boxing has always appeared the gentler, kinder sport from my perspective. The thought of having a shoulder joint twisted to the breaking point makes me cringe.

(II)I’m sure the power of repetition somewhat helps in handling the big stage and big games. The human mind has a wonderful ability to shut out the outside noise and compartmentalize at times. What we always define as “clutch” is probably not so uncommon when the passion and love of something consumes the moment.

The true heroes and clutch performers are the men and women in uniform, firefighters, members of law enforcement, teachers, volunteers that help the suffering.

Sports is merely entertainment. It’s not life and death. It allows an artistic element our being to flourish. It allows for more civility because we play out aggressions, fantasies, and escape from the hardships of the daily grind many in this world far more unfortunate that will rarely find lights at ends of tunnels.
