One last chance to see Indiana grads Jordan Hulls, Derek Elston and Christian Watford play comes Monday night at 7:30 in Marion when the ACC All-Stars take on the Indiana All-Stars in the Champions Classic at the high school. There will also be a 3-point and dunk contest. Tickets are $5.

Other scheduled participants include Marion native Scott Wood of N.C. State, Warsaw native Mason Plumlee of Duke and Dexter Strickland of UNC.

Thanks for posting this. My girlfriend and I made the drive up from New Castle, had a good time and got to see Angelo Sharpless jump over Mason Plumlee for a ridiculous dunk.

The ACC All Stars also play ‘Crossfire Ministries’ every year at my kids’ high school. This year, after the game, Mason Plumlee had a table set up selling off his Duke practice gear (autographed of course).

To make the picture complete, Randy Shepard, the huckster who runs the ‘Crossfire Ministries’ scam (It’s a classic ‘for profit’ non profit.) was set up adjacent to him taking money from the rubes.

To say it was unseemly didn’t begin to cover it.

All the worst aspects of Duke basketball, capitalism, and religion were on display. A true slimefest.
