For the second consecutive year, the Indiana women’s basketball team will host the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

The two conferences announced Thursday that the Hoosiers will welcome Virginia Tech to Assembly Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 4. It will be the first time the schools have played in women’s basketball.

“We are excited about hosting Virginia Tech in the annual challenge,” IU coach Curt Miller said in a release. “I have great respect for their coaching staff and the program they are building. They are coming off an excellent year defensively as they held 20 opponents to 60 points or less during the 2012-13 season. The game will be a good measuring stick for our young team as we enter the 2013-14 season with 10 freshmen and sophomores on the roster.”

The Hoosiers are 3-3 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge after knocking off Clemson last year, 52-49. The Big Ten combined for a 5-7 record in 2012. Here is the full lineup of this year’s matchups:

Wednesday, Dec. 4
Notre Dame at Penn State
Illinois at Georgia Tech
Virginia Tech at Indiana
Michigan State at Florida State

Thursday, Dec. 5
NC State at Northwestern
Boston College at Wisconsin
Syracuse at Iowa
Purdue at Duke
Ohio State at Maryland
Nebraska at North Carolina
Michigan at Virginia
Miami at Minnesota
