Indy Star: IU softball coach was reprimanded for April tirade

Stephanie Wang and Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star wrote this report citing Indiana athletic department documents that said an internal review was conducted on IU softball coach Michelle Gardner after a post-game tirade after the Hoosiers’ 3-0 loss to Penn State in April. According to the story, Gardner was not suspended or fined, but was reprimanded and told that such a situation could not happen again.

    Heaven help these kids when in their career profession a project or assignment goes a half bubble out of plumb or a goal is not reached. They will know what a tirade and/or retribution is.
