Why does IU offer 2015 recruit Raymond Spalding already…along with Northwestern, Butler, Xavier, Cleveland State, Western Ky, Vanderbilt, Boston College, and Clemson….Isn’t IU going to compete against Duke, North Carolina, KY (not western), Kansas, Florida, Michigan State, Michigan etc

Andy, Agree with your answer to my ST’s coaching Q. I think for no definitive reason a 2-3 man combination of Noah Joseph, James Patton and Larry McDaniel are among the most likely candidates. Joseph has some fire to him, McDaniel will do anything for IU and Patton I think knows most as to what Wilson envisions and expects than anyone on the staff.

Dustin, Jeremy- thanks for responding to my questions. Just to be clear I am a supporter of WSt and my question wasn’t meant to belittle them, I have them going to the Final4, I’ve always liked their coach ever since he was at Winthrop(he won’t be a Shocker much longer.) My questions today were just more so topical than anything else, when I logged on to ask one I felt no interest in the generic same old same old IU questions that get asked a million times a wk. I think WSt is really good but I do think they would’ve lost at least 4 games in the B1G, do I think that matters? No.

As far as Stauskus/McDermott- I’d take McDermott for college but in 2 years Nik will be the better player, he’s already a better athlete and I think he’ll be Chandler Parsons in the NBA. With that said I want to see Dougie Buckets dance dominantly.

When Andy listed the football coaches with their areas of focus, in addition to Special Teams there was no mention of a coach for Wide Receivers. I think that Johns does double duty here with the QB’s and the WR’s. Does any other B1G or major conference football team do this one coach for both QB and WR?

On Noah, I hope that he comes back next year to have a second year of college life and education AND to have a chance for an NCAA Final Four. When you listen to Cody Zeller, Michael Jordan, and many others, the college friendships and basketball memories and the chance “to grow up as a person were very important to them (something that 1-and-dones don’t get much of)
